Maldron Hotel Shoreditch

Rooms are very clean and the furniture is new. The hotel is well situated, in a quiet area. There wasn't any noise from the street or other rooms. The view from our room was pretty nice. The double room we stayed in had no closet space except for 4 hangers, we had to keep our clothes and other things on the desk. We only received one toothbrush, no idea why not 2. Not enough space to hang towells in the bathroom. The heating was centralized and we had to settle for the temperature set by the hotel. On our last day we were really cold, there was no thermometer available and we didn't say anything because our stay was almost over.

Great location for a reasonable price. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, but the walls did have some splatters. Bathroom clean. The bed was a little shorter than we hoped for. My boyfriend is 2 meters tall, so the bed was too small for him. More closet space and clothes hangers or hooks would be handy. Overall it was a nice stay and would recommend.

Great stay at the Maldron Shoreditch. Fabulous view over London, and the bed was positioned so we were looking out over the view rather than just at a wall with a tv. Room was bright, well lit and well decorated. Super clean and ready well before check in time. Missed not having a fridge to keep water cold but we got a large glass of ice from the bar which was ok. No chair in the room , but tbh there wasn’t really a sensible place for one. Staff were great, used self check in which was effortless and they held our bags safely for a few hours after checkout. Complimentary coffee was appreciated but not very strong.

I didn't have too many expectations, coming to London for a business trip plus a few off days. I was looking for a hotel close to work that was for reasonable price, and this was a great experience for me. As a vegan, breakfast was good enough for me, and the room was clean. It's not the hotel you want for a vacation in London, but it's close enough to Moorgate station, so perhaps that's OK as well. It's a walking distance from some very good restaurants, Shoreditch Sunday markets and obviously some work places (for me it fit very well).

We had the pleasure of staying in the Maldron hotel Shoreditch for a girls trip last week. The hotel was modern and spotless. The staff were so helpful and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was so comforable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, the area was excellent also!

Excellent location - hotel with outstanding and efficient service. The rooms are modern, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Everything feels new and well-maintained. The breakfast is rich and varied, offering a great selection. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return.

Myself and my two friends stayed here for 2 nights for a girls trip. We could not recommend this place enough. Only a 10/15 min walk from Liverpool Street station. Great location to get around the city. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We asked for a late check out which they gave us complimentary which was a great touch. Really could not recommend enough and will definitely be back again. Thank you to all the staff that helped us!

Comfortable, modern & very clean hotel in a good location in Shoreditch. All the staff were very friendly. Our Superior room was a bit on the small side but was well-appointed. Buffet breakfast was good, with a cook-to-order facility for some items. Our trip was an overnight stay for an event at the Barbican, which is only 15 mins walk. There are a good selection of pubs and restaurants nearby, and proximity to public transport links is excellent. Highly recommended for a good value overnight stay in London.
